Vintage, 1950's cinnamon brown diamond cluster ring 1940sProvenance Original to the 1950's, a fancy brown diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a natural round brilliant cut fancy brown diamond. It has a stunning soft cinnamon tone and as it catches the light a more subtle rosy hue can be seen too. This is not surprising, as both brown and pink diamonds are caused by the same rare phenomenon a 'slip' or defect of carbon atoms within the crystal lattice, although technically an imperfection, this results

in broad flashes against a darker body colour

Hallmarks: marked '18ct' and 'PLAT' indicating 18ct white gold & platinum
